Fred and Brenda Shieldknight

Fred is the head honcho of the farm and ranch.  Brenda is the wonderful wife and master cook! They have owned and operated the farm and ranch for over 40 years.  The are blessed beyond measure to provide Spearman, Texas with amazing crops, cattle, and red angus beef. Fred and Brenda have been recognized as a hard working family farm and ranch over the past five generations. Shieldknight Land and Cattle gives much recognition to the dedicated, loyal, and hardworking employees. These men and women provide the farm and ranch with love and goals set forth.

SLAC wants to thank Fred and Brenda for all their hard work and dedication, but mostly their prayers for the development of the farm and ranch.

Ty and Kelly Jack

Ty is our chief machine operator, handles maintenance, and night calving.    Kelly is our full time office manager, bookkeeper, cattle records, and clerk.

They have 2 wonderful children,  Laney and Q that you can expect to be roping, helping out and running the drone around the farm.

Quentin and Kristin Shieldknight

Quentin is the agronomist and head operations manager of the farm and ranch.  Kristin is the Chief of Innovation of Spearman ISD.  They have 3 wonderful children that you will see running around and helping out on the farm. 

Kinley, Hayden and Logan love feeding cattle, helping their Dad and Pop Pop, and riding the tractor year round! 

Chris and Clara Simmons

Chris is the security and IT manager at the farm.   He also is a football assistant and head track coach at Perryton ISD. 

Clara is the website developer and an Instructional Math and Science Coach at Perryton ISD. They have 2 boys, Cy and Cal.  These two boys love coming to help name the bulls, throw dirt, and call up coyotes when in Spearman.

Colby and SAndi Wheeler

Colby is the herdsmen, calving, feeding and general ranch duties manager.  Sandi is the Perryton Junior High Principal.  They have Cash who is a pig and cow loving kid!
