Shieldknight Land and Cattle began using red angus cattle in 2009 converting from our old herd of Simmental and black angus.  Our commercial red angus cattle are known for their elite replacement females and docility.  Our steers are NHTC certified and fed out at Cattleman's Choice Feedyard in Gage, Oklahoma.  This years steers were 98% Choice/Prime!!! ​Our red angus registered herd is young and based off of genetics from breed leaders including B&L Red Angus, RA Brown Ranch, Ludvigson Stock Farms, Leachman Cattle of Colorado, Mushrush Red Angus, and 5L Red Angus.  All of our registered cattle are performance tested.  Each animal goes through DNA, feed efficiency testing with Growsafe, and ultrasounded to give you the consumer the best information to make sound breeding decisions.
